This story is very emotional so have the tissues with you.  I didn’t expect so many emotional moments in this book.  It’s a story of 3 friends who were inseparable until 1 year in college.  The last quarter of the book was a big surprise for me.  I don’t want to say much and spoil it for you, but it was a great book.  The narration from Duncan, Marina and Theo was great and they did a fantastic job with all the emotions.

I was worried this book would break my heart, and it did just that, and it did it well, and then put it back together as much as this story line could. This is a very emotional ready, I went in knowing spoilers and I am honestly glad I did. I usually like to go in blind, but with this plot, I would have been a complete wreck if I didn't have a heads of what was to come. Knowing spoilers made this an easier listen and prevented major tears and book depression, lol.

I loved the premise of this book; childhood friends to lovers, promises made, promises broken, and an unbelievably heartbreaking journey to a HEA (as much of HEA as we can get with this plot anyway). Would I read this book again? Probably not for the sake of my mental health, lol. However, I would recommend this book to anyone that feels the need for a good cry. I love Delilah's parents and how supportive they were of their daughter and her two best friends.

Duncan Prescott, Marina Barrett, and Theo Sinclair narrated this book, and I enjoyed this audio production. I wasn't a fan of their "other character" voices, one of them made the FMC sounds very young which threw me off, but overall, really enjoyed this audio and recommend this listen.

I don't know what to say. This was not was I expecting. This was very emotional story. It had me laughing and crying. Delilah, Cole and Xander's story was beautifully written. I was hooked right from the beginning and couldn't put it down. I loved reading the journey these three went through with there ups and downs. I have to say this was one of the best stories I have read this year. This is the first book I have read from this author and I can't wait to read more.

So years ago I read this book and on top is my review. This was recently released on audio and let me just say listening to this even though I still remember what's going to happen was quite an experience. I think that hearing the characters voices instead of reading it made the experience a lot different especially when it came to Cole's character bravo to the narrator because I was balling my eyes out. This truly is one of those books I'll never forget. I think the narrators did an excellent job and if I could I would give them more than 5*.

Nikki Ash takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride with this friends-to-lovers romance, a romance that was years in the making. A story that will move you like no other, one with gut-wrenching moments that will have you bawling your eyes out, so have those tissues ready. The story grabs your attention immediately and holds it captive the entire time. Cole lost his parents at a young age, and his mother’s dying wish was for him to find a love like she and his father had. He went to live with his grandmother, but after she passed away, they placed him in foster care when he made a friend, Xander. Xander and Cole went to the neighboring property, where they met Delilah, and the three bonded and became each other’s rocks through the challenges their young lives faced all the way into adulthood. When their love became too complicated, Xander stepped away, but his heart was always with them. The complexity and depth of this beautifully written multi-layered story is remarkable, and the story has the perfect balance of drama, heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Duncan Prescott, Marina Barrett, and Theo Sinclair are a trifecta of a narration team, with voices and talent that complement one another and a captivating performance that rivets you to the story. I loved how they took their roles and owned them, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they expressed all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

This was a wonderful audiobook with a friends to lovers theme. It's narrated by
Duncan Prescott, Marina Barrett & Theo Sinclair . The romance, the angst and just the raw emotions of it all had me a little torn up. This is Delilah, Cole and Xander's story. I was so impressed by the narrators, they really outdid themselves. This story is heart wrenching and beautiful. This story makes me feel all the emotions.
