I have read Chickenhawk admittedly a few years ago, but this book takes you into the cockpit of these US Army Helicopter Pilots!!

I'm a retired US Navy Helicopter pilot, but from my perspective, from the training, to some of the flying back came a flood of memories.

This book is wonderful written, engrossing and engaging as you live through the training, and the 19 months of the day to day lives of these soldiers, and morn the loss of so many of this countries finest!!

I must read IMHO!! Thank you Col Jackson, looking forward to Book 2!!

Better Than Chickenhawk

Worth the listen. Narration was hard to get through. Lots of audible mouse clicking and throat noises. Random music between chapters and a couple of times there were odd sound effects which took away from the experience as well as obvious pauses between words in sentences.

Great story. Moved quickly.

Good story but narrator stumbles to much. Other than that very compelling story enjoyed the book very much.

After listening to Maj. Jackson on Jocko Podcast 275. I had to listen to this book.

The bravery & heroism of these crews was amazing. The skill & determination of these pilots is inspiring.

There were many leadership lessons to be learned in this book.
