I have loved this series but honestly I am getting weary of the depressing elements (character depression) and more than that the bickering and fighting. I already bought the next book so I hope it gets better or I may be done.

Great work on narration as always! Story seems a bit thinner than usual; bit of a rushed feel to it. Given all the setup for the next book/next Jacob Brown story the follow ons should be quite good indeed!
