Lamech's long life was not bereft of joy, adventure and love. But much changed when he accidentally killed Cain who slew his own brother, Abel. Some might crave what he shunned in those early centuries, immortality. The curse carried a heavy burden however, for no longer could he walk when the Moon's lover cast away the night shadows without risk of being burned, discovered or killed. By day his strength was little more than the mortals, yet by night he grew in speed and power, and his senses were amplified. Yet the curse drove him and his progeny to seek out the life fluids of humans or animals.
The children of vampires were hybrid monsters. The gorgons, centaurs, satyrs, minotaurs and mermaids were feared or shunned by mortals.
In those days, the old gods still mingled in the affairs of men. Yet it was their superhero progeny who rose in the shadows to fight the monsters and dragons who roamed the earth in those times. For Olympus itself was besieged.
A renegade child of Lamech had gained the power to walk in daylight. And worse still he could summon werewolves. Seeking to rule over humans like some dark-god, he sought out his own kin to slay them when the solar disk was high and the vampires slept.
Seeking aid and advice, Lilith, Lamech's estranged wife, seeks out the Oracle of Delphi, an ancient sorceress. Yet her prophecies and advice come with a price.
