I was surprised by the negative reviews! I thought it was a perfect sequel to a very exciting trilogy! Getting an inside look at the pride, the place where Jacinda should feel the most comfortable, the most at home. However, all the hatred and accusing sentiments toward her for revealing what she is to hunters and, even worse, her falling in love with one! I can feel the anxiety and turmoil Jacinda goes through! If I didn't listen to it I would be skipping the pages just to find out what happens next!Thrilling and Frustrating at the Same Time!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would recommend it, but with a warning. Some parts are extremely frustrating. They are many times when the main character could defend herself, but does not. She also find a way to blame herself for EVERYTHING. I'm not a fan of self loathing characters. The twin sister was also extremely irritating. Overall, it's a good story though. The first book was better.Would you listen to another book narrated by Therese Plummer?
