Overall, the story started out well and continued through most of the book. However, the last few chapters seemed very rushed with the author attempting to throw in a steamy scene. The scene took the two main characters from being mature, usually fighting but capable adults to two list filled teens in heat. I also stopped it at that point because of the significant decline in the writing.

It is only my first book by this author. I will try another before deciding if I’ll totally give up.
