Good information about a great way to exercise. Always thought I couldn't be fit without jogging, now I know that walking is as good, and much easier on the body.

Good presentation, a little dry in spots, but overall good information. Gives a beat to walk to at the different fitness levels for practice.

Try it, get fit!

My husband loves to run but I prefer to walk and this book gave me a little "ammo" to start trying to convince him to give his joints a break and walk more than run. The first half of the audiobook is all about the health benefits of walking and I plan to listen to it periodically to keep myself motivated. The second half has workouts and warmups that I haven't really gotten into yet but look interesting. Enjoyed it!

The book is fine but the audio presentation has a major flaw.

The first half gives you a get-started pep talk, the second half provides workout details -- but as an audiobook, it needs several more chapters so you can break in at the beginning of the workout or other key points. As it is, you have to hold down the forward or backward button for over a minute to get the correct spots for the walking tempos.
