What made the experience of listening to Warprize the most enjoyable?
It was not just about sex, it had a slow burn, but it had a story with strong characters. What was one of the most memorable moments of Warprize?
When the lady discovered she was actually a prize. What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?
Her voice was natural, no sing song type voice. She did good changing voices to male. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, ran through it fast.Any additional comments?
I will listen to this one again. Waiting for the next book in the series.Hot strong leader.

The heroine is a strong woman who doesn't frighten easily. She has royal blood but spends her time as a healer. I liked her. This is one of those rare moments where I can say that I have absolutely no complaints where the heroine is concerned. I think she handled every situation with spirit and grace.
The hero is the Warlord. He's a fierce fighter, leader and what you would consider an alpha male. The only thing that felt a bit out of character for him was that he was dominant in everything except the heroine. For being a warlord, you expect him to just take what he wants. He even says he does, but that never really held true when it came to the heroine.
Don't get me wrong, I still very much enjoyed this book and enjoyed Kier as the hero. I just wish he did a few things differently with the heroine and that would have pushed this into a favorite re-read for me.
This doesn't exactly end on a cliffhanger, however you do know there is more to the story. I didn't do my research and I thought this was a standalone book. That's ok for me because I am curious if Keir will be more to character with the heroine considering how this ended.
