This Man, Mr. Maurice Chandler earend his accolades and then shared how he got there. Step by step. Told as a true story and his voice rings true. Especially to the hearts of NJ in the 90's, He took accountability for every stage in his life and for what most men are conditioned to never admit to. The story is raw, explicit, bottom line just plain real, I thought to myself, the whole time while reading this, these words could never be published. I laughed, Cried, Swore this level of therapy was perfect timing for where I'm at in my journey called Life...thinking we need to let this man enlighten us and show us, we have much, much more to learn. I'm from New Jersey but from the other side of the tracks. I thought I knew, Clearly had no idea. He made his point without trying, This is Our Life. This book will touch you and remind you...without judgement...whatever your doing, all we have to do is do better because WE deserve IT. Share this with your loved ones. This is knowledge from experience.

I really enjoyed author Maurice Chandler’s book. We all have a story!Here’s mine. I felt like Maurice took me by the hand and walked me through his life, covering all of the major steps (positive and negative) that affected him one way or another. I think this book gives a great perspective on life growing up in one of the poorest cities in our country. It also teaches you to never give up in life no matter how hard your struggle. And most of all the book teaches lessons of mindset. With the right mindset, you can overcome and accomplish anything!

This was a great story of overcoming internal and external obstacles. The author was open about personal issues that hindered his early growth. He clearly laid out his plans and actions for change. The book is educational and inspirational.

This was a great autobiography very relatable to many. I had a hard time putting it down just wanted to see what was next. I would most definitely like to hear more. I think we need another book.
