Learn more about what climate change means and how it's affecting our planet.

The earth is definitely getting warmer. There's no argument about that, but who or what is the cause? And why has climate change become a political issue? Are humans at fault? Is this just a natural development? While the vast majority of scientists who study the environment agree that humans play a large part in climate change, there is a counterargument. Author Gail Herman presents both sides of the debate in this fact-based, fair-minded, and well-researched book that looks at the subject from many perspectives, including scientific, social, and political.

i belief there is a serious climate problem but that there are issues that could and should be discussed. this read like some election manifesto and thus adds very little understanding. just stating that climate scientists view their science critically without discussing how and where there are issues does not help anyone in search of some truths

What is Climate Change? is a clearly written introduction for kids and their parents. Explains what climate means and how it’s more than the weather on a given day. Describes why climate change and temperature increases over time matter. Introduces the work of science in studying the problem. Apolitical. Important for our kids to hear and understand as they have heard about climate change and this a more complete answer to the title’s question than what I could have offered.

Great intro for kids and adults
