I won’t say much about the plot because I don’t want to spoil anything, but hang on for a wildly emotional narrative. Second chances, best friends to lovers, love triangles, drama, past and present challenges- there’s so much complexity. Like love itself, Siobhan weaves a story that is full of contrasts. Beauty and pain, turmoil and authenticity, devastation and hope. Sioban chronicles the highs and lows of living and loving through these complicated by dynamic characters, who are also just learning to grow up, who are figuring out living and loving in so many heart-hurting ways. As usual, Siobhan captures our hearts with these characters, and with the right dash of foreshadowing and tonal foreboding we just know twists and heartaches are coming. And come they do. You’ll scream, you’ll cry, you’ll love and be frustrated by these characters in equal measure. But like always Siobhan’s creative brilliance brings us exactly where we were meant to be- each moment, each world, each feeling perfectly placed for just the right reason. But hold on to your hearts, this is NOT an easy love story- and one that had blasted tears running down my face multiple times before I turned the last page. And these characters, well each and everyone one will stay with you. Especially our heroine Gabby, my love for her lasted through every up and down, through all the mistakes, frustrations, and healing.
This story will break your heart- so may times. But trust in Siobhan to piece it back together in the end. The emotional gauntlet is worth every agonizing moment- because even with a fractured heart, love is what shines in the end.
The vocal performances are great- especially Sarah Puckett. She's one of my favorite narrators, she always bring such a powerful ethos to her characters, and she really captures all of the heart and compassion and emotion of Gabby. I loved the range of the performances, both bringing these characters and the heart of this story to life.

The heartache gabby felt with what happened with her childhood sweetheart Dylan, I was just shocked. I thought it sweet that she was able to move on with her bothers best friend but as the story continued I was floored with all the revelations that revolved around gabby and Dylan. But the ending was beautiful and I absolutely loved it. The narrators did a spectacular job with all the characters. Even in the harshest moments they did a wonderful job.

This story was tragic and beautiful at the same time. These threads are so delicately woven together, that at the end a story of how love can transform even the most dire of circumstances into something beautiful and amazing.
I do agree with many other readers, in that Slater is my favorite character. He exhibited such a true and pure love that it was painful. He was noble and the epitome of a man you would want to love you and father your children. His love is the sturdy foundation that this entire storyline is established upon. Without his capacity for love this story could not have developed!
In my opinion, this is the best story I have read in the last year—I did not want it to end!
It is worth the credit and I highly recommend When Forever Changes if you want a story that shatters your heart and rebuilds it stronger than it was before!
