What good is magic if it can't heal a broken heart?

When magic Fails by Alaina Stanford is an amazing fantasy. Kay Webster did an amazing job with the narration. When Magic Fails is the second book in the series Hypnotic Journey. The story is entertaining, heartfelt, adventurous, interesting, mysterious, and more. Things are not going to plan for everyone. Themis may have started out as a video game but it is not longer a good thing. The elf council has decided to execute the group for traders but the elf prince arranged to help them escape. What will happen now? Can they stop the elf council from killing the? Listen to find out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend

This story is a continuation of the last book. it cannot be read alone. I felt thrown into the story despite listening to the first book immediately before this one. there were some editing mistakes. I'm not sure of that was the book or the narrator. the narrator is terrible. she mispronounced words and I don't like the way she voices characters.
