What do you do when your religious beliefs differ from your spouse, parent, child, sibling, or friend? For many Mormons, these differences can be heartbreaking. This book explores how truth, beauty, and goodness can save our relationships even when we disagree with those we love.

This book is for:

1. Mormons who want to better understand a family member or friend who doubts 2. Unorthodox or former Mormons who are looking for ways to talk about their transition with believing family members and friends 3. People who are experiencing a Mormon faith crisis and wondering where to turn

Loved it. Good ideas for taking life less serious. Educational too. Very good. Narrative. Interesting read on different faiths.

Eloquent book

This is a sensitive topic, and I think the author did an amazing job of capturing different aspects of this journey and helpful insights to consider while navigating relationships amidst doubts. I consider this framework of finding common beliefs in relationships to be very helpful as well.

Very insightful perspective and framework...

written from obviously a heart and mind that have plumbed great depth and breadth of both the beauty and truth inside humans and our societies. it reviews its subject wholly absent of judgement and embraces substance for both a mormon believer and a less-orthodox or non believing mormon. the author succeeds wonderfully at describing the conditions and offering serious, substantial, and do-able things to save mixed faith families or societies. this is THE BEST BOOK on the topic. it is absolutely a must read/listen.

an account of beauty and truth

I have been struggling for months knowing how to have a positive relationship with my Mormon family since I’ve stopped believing Mormonism. This book helped me reign in my anger and sadness and take a more middle of the road look at what I can do to positively impact our relationship! It’s so thought provoking and helped me see everything as a big picture. Love love love this book and I’ll definitely be reading it again! Thank you Jon for being brave enough to write this book and share your thoughts! I can tell you have put a lot of time and effort into seeking truth and beauty!

Just what I needed!
