I haven't even finished and had to write a review as to how much I am enjoying this story. I am a Gemmell fan from way back, have read all his fantasy novels but didn’t realise he'd written a couple of crime novels. I have to say, im absolutely loving it. The writing style is the same with an easy relaxed feel, characters you bond to and that fear your favourite one will be killed off doing a heroic deed. I dont know if this will happen but I cant wait to to find out. A must for any Gemmell fan.
