What to say…. While this season ended satisfactorily, the last few books were some of the worst in the entire series. S1 left me ready for more, and while S2 makes me want to start S3, most of the last 3 books were boring and anticlimactic. I did enjoy the glimpse at Malcolm and Seong-Jae’s domestic life at the end, but the cliffhanger is disappointing. The author has stated that they planned to write 3-5 seasons with 13 episodes each, but they’ve only written through S3E3 and that was published in 2022. I know they’ve not been too active on social media since then, but for several years they gave hope that more books would come. However, health issues over the past year make me think we may never get more. So, while I desperately want to begin the next season, I’m going to hold off to see if anything will be published. Curt Bonnem was consistent throughout the first 26 episodes, and that’s a feat in and of itself. Do yourself a favor and spring for the audio, it’s worth it.

No one pisses me off in this series more than Gabby. She acts all high and mighty but she is the weakest and most useless character in this entire series. Even though she has the power and opportunity to do more in her position she is always too scared to do anything. All bark and no bite!
I think the ending for both Normand and Sila were very fitting and deserving.
