This is categorized as a sci-fi fantasy novel however it’s really not. Therefore it wasn’t what I like. I tried to push thru hoping it would get better but my lord it just drags on and on. The whole beginning was the h/h going to some sort of ball of course and after a while I looked at my phone and it still had 7 hours. I finally skipped 10 chapters and it opened up with the h deciding on what to wear for another ball so I skipped again and AGAIN the H comments on he can’t let her go out in a dress like that. Is that what this whole book is about? Fashion and balls??? So I gave up.
