Black Ops, Inc. operative Luke - Doc Holliday - Colter is taking some much needed down-time, making his way across the Peruvian Andes via rail, when banditos attack the moving train in the midnight hours. I've read all of this series up to this book. It's in the romance pkg and narrated by Douglas Berger,; win, win. This story follows the other stories with Doc and Val. I liked both characters and the action around them was written well. I like that all Cindy's characters are written differently. Give this one a listen. Really good.
I think I'll go back and listen to some of the other stories I've already read.

I recommend stopping here to end the series on a high note, This had the best narration, unique (for this series) on the run plot, excellent chemistry, two likeable MCs (and I’m not one for famous MCs), and most importantly … this was fun. Luke ‘Doc Holliday’ is a charmer and the banter between him and Val rocked. When I’m that entertained, it’s easy to forgive the occasional too cheesy or silly part.

Loved that Doc finally got his story, as well as the fact that the romantic lead wasn't some weak-willed character, but someone who struggled with a "weakness" & triumphed over it.

I’m really enjoying these Black Ops books!!! I love Luke aka Doc & Valentina story. Luke helped Valentina to see how strong she is and worth something. And she was able to fill that part of him that died when he got hurt in the last book. I love the action in these books. I was surprised with what happened at the end with Valentina’s ex.

This is one of my favorites of the series. Luke is such a good guy by nature and this book starts off with him just doing what comes naturally.
