In Luke 2:14, God’s angelic host proclaims to the shepherds outside Bethlehem, “Peace on earth! And good will to all who please Him!” In Philippians 4:8-9, Paul lays out what true worship looks like. Then, he connects it directly to peace. In both cases, the source of peace is the same: The word of God. It makes me wise (Matthew 7:24). It gives me fellowship with Him (Luke 8:21).
