The end is coming. We have two choices—rule or die.

Finally reunited with my mates, we must prepare to take on our biggest threat yet: my psychopathic sister. The only way to do so is to gather an army.

The nightmares refuse to see my mates as their rightful rulers, so we make the decision to participate in the Trials of Lilith. If we have her blessing, then the nightmares will have no choice but to follow us and fight against Aaliyah.

But there’s a reason why the trials haven’t been utilized in centuries. They are dangerous, deadly games that revolve around each of the sins. In order to earn Lilith’s approval, we’ll have to complete them all. The consequence of failure is death.

The time has come to end this once and for all.

Will my mates and I be able to get out of this war unscathed? Or will we need to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to ensure the survival of everything we hold dear?

What am I willing to give up to save the world?

I love everything I’ve read by katie may and the damning series was no different. My only problem I had was the narration. The narrator did all the male voices but there was very little to no change in the voice to differentiate between each man. At times I would have to doublecheck whose chapter the perspective was from because I couldn’t tell since they all sounded almost exactly the same.

Love the series but the narration could be better
