When workaholic best man Carter arrives in Mistletoe Falls for his best friends’ Christmas wedding, a town-wide Santa Festival and a misplaced motel reservation leave him with one option—beg the woman he once rejected for a room at her bed-and-breakfast. Unfortunately, that woman also happens to be the bride’s sister…and the maid of honor.

To make matters worse, the bride and groom are delayed, turning Ashley and Carter into last-minute wedding planners, forced into a truce neither of them wants. But late-night checklists, a blizzard of holiday activities, and a charming small town turn their snark into sparks.

When they get snowed in and every near-kiss feels dangerously close to something real, Carter realizes there’s more to December than year-end deadlines.

As their truce melts, one question remains—is this a holiday fling, or the start of forever?

If you are looking for a quick fun holiday read look no further!!! I always look forward to this authors books and I was not disappointed one bit!!

I was hooked immediately and couldn’t put it down! I found myself chuckling throughout the story! It is definitely one I wished was longer! I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters!!

If you are an audio fan be sure to give this one a listen! The narrators were perfect! They added much life and character to the characters! They made this one play out like a movie in my mind!

So if you’re in the mood for a novella, small town, sisters best friend, holiday, close proximity romance look no further!

I think I enjoyed this one a little more because the fmc has MY name! I felt more and more like I was in the story! This was definitely an enemies to lovers/ second chances a bit because of the situation between the fmc and mmc. Definitely a forced proximity since the mmc ends up having to stay at the fmcs bed and breakfast which he was DEFINITELY trying to avoid! I loved the drama, the tension between them and definitely LOVED the way it ended!

Great Holiday Read!

This one had such excellent narration!

Ashley and Carter's story had a bit of a unique twist on a slightly second chance romance.

They were RIGHT there several months ago but Carter couldn't follow through - because Ashley is the identical twin of one of Carter's best friends since college and he just. Couldn't.

There's a little forced proximity as Carter and Ashley try to get things ready for twin sister Steph's wedding to Carter's other bff - Doug - at Ashley's picturesque B&B in Vermont. It's the holidays so there are some holiday themed contests going on.

The whole story is so adorable - and a little spicy - but I especially loved the Christmas Tree Wishes.

It might be my new favorite of the entire series but I don't know, they are all just a fun break from the winter blahs.
