    Feb 11 2026

Brian and Stephanie come back for an ad hoc season and start with another discussion of shame. This time they tackle the question of what kind of relationship work shame can do and how it can cause relationship dysfunction (and how it has in their relationship). Brian goes in to more detail about the ways in which shame continues to impact him and how it moves through it when it does.

An absolutely helpful story for anyone who is going through a similar problem or knows someone who is going through it. For me personally, this is very helpful, and thank you very much.

Great great story

I was on board with most of the insights and stories. I could definitely give a much higher rating. However they got into some areas where they started talking about some things they had little knowledge or experience about with a condecending expert tone. Particularly 12 step. Should have just left it at "not for me". No need to down talk millions of people. The negatives you put forth represented that you didn't take the time to understand it at all.

Good insight but falls short
