• Spiritually Strong – Carol Vale on dignity and culture
    Mar 27 2026

In this episode of Another Bloody Podcast, Share the Dignity founder Rochelle Courtenay sits down with Carol Vale, proud Dungati woman and founder of Murawin, a First Nations-led consultancy driving change across culture, community and social impact.

Carol shares her experience growing up on an Aboriginal mission, where access to period products was limited and conversations around menstruation were guided by cultural practices and the concept of women’s business. Together, they explore the complexities of delivering period products into remote First Nations communities, the importance of cultural safety, and why access alone is not enough without education, trust and respect.

This conversation highlights the often-overlooked barriers faced by First Nations women and girls, from affordability and access to stigma and shame, and the critical role community-led solutions play in creating lasting change.Because true menstrual equity means ensuring every woman and girl can manage her period with dignity, in a way that respects her culture, her community, and her identity.

  • Building Bloody Change - Jo Farrell on why the basics shouldn't be optional at work
    Feb 27 2026

In this episode of Another Bloody Podcast, Share the Dignity founder Rochelle Courtenay sits down with 2024 ACT Australian of the Year Joanne Farrell, builder, industry leader and founder of Build Like A Girl, to unpack the urgent need for Building Bloody Change.

Jo shares her firsthand experience navigating the construction industry as a woman, from walking onto sites without basic amenities to witnessing talented women leave the sector due to preventable barriers. Together, they explore the reality of Australia’s skills shortage, the systemic inequities still present on worksites, and why access to clean toilets, sanitary bins and period products is not a luxury, but a fundamental workplace standard.

This conversation challenges workplaces to do better, highlighting how small, practical changes can create lasting impact. Because if we are serious about attracting and retaining women, we must build workplaces that respect dignity, safety and equity for all.
