From May 2026, the Renters Rights Act introduces major reforms to improve tenant security. The good news is that it will abolish “no fault evictions” and ends fixt termed tenancies in favour of rolling contracts.
It will limit rent increases to once yearly, strengthen protections against discrimations and unfair practices.
