They met at Le Rock in Rockefeller Center, and chatted over Demi’s drink of choice: her own, signature Cali Water flavor, a brand she both represents and invests in. She says she’s the “happiest she’s ever been” -- newly married, touring for the album It’s Not That Deep and promoting her cookbook called One Plate at a Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food. In recovery from disordered eating, Demi says she found freedom in the kitchen, and hopes the cookbook helps others in recovery, as well as anyone intimidated by cooking. Demi opens up about her journey from child actor to global superstar, and why early fame was challenging.
