The story is worthy of a podcast and the delivery of the narrator is excellent and keeps your attention. The curious aspect is how the narrator touts her own high education and intellect, in addition to those in the story, but can’t seem to figure out what was painfully obvious by chapter 2. As the listener, I’m left wondering if the writers have ever listened to a true crime story before. Each chapter leaves her to be even more baffled by the mystery, but there’s not really a mystery. Motive is painfully obvious from the beginning, and I was left wishing the story was presented in another way.
