Satan hasn’t needed new lies since the beginning—he simply keeps repeating the same ones. In this episode, Jenny and Lee explore some of the common lies the adversary uses to discourage, distract, and pull us away from Jesus Christ. From feelings of inadequacy to distorted views of our identity and worth, these patterns of deception show up again and again in our lives. Together they discuss how recognizing those lies helps us respond differently—and how choosing Christ allows truth, grace, and clarity to replace the adversary’s distortions. This conversation invites listeners to look more carefully at the messages they’re hearing, recognize the voice of the adversary, and remember that the Savior’s truth always leads us back to hope, identity, and peace.Resources:2 Nephi 2:112 Nephi 28:8Doctrine and Covenants 19:15-18Genesis 50:20Henry B. Using sources of truth, Jenny D. Webb and Dr. Lee Burdge unfold Gospel topics in relatable conversations about how the challenges of mortality are completely conquerable when you draw upon the powers of Heaven. Laugh and cry along with them as they tackle topics like relationships, parenting, growing older, loss, love, faith, and joy. Jenny and Lee firmly believe that the dents we sustain in our armor as we fight life’s battles do not define us, but are merely evidence that we can stand firm in our faith, and like the Savior, overcome the world.Podcast Links:Website: https://www.thedentsinmyarmor.com/Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4twLiGuBa06CpzDiQ43KPWApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-dents-in-my-armor/id1750794619Instagram: @thedentsinmyarmor https://www.instagram.com/thedentsinmyarmor/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61558057287024Contact Us: jennyandlee@thedentsinmyarmor.com#churchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints #jesuschrist #ldspodcast
