  • S2, E23: The Murder of Arash Ghorbani Zarin - Murdered In His Car
    Mar 16 2026

This case is unlike any we've covered before.

The murder was incredibly brutal and callous with a scene that should have been a goldmine for forensic evidence. Thankfully, due to determination of the team involved and a breakthrough due to two good Samaritans spotting something suspicious, key evidence was located and linked back to the murder scene. This case proves just how important the tiny pieces of evidence really are when getting justice for Arash and his family.

  • S2, E22: The Murder of David Jackson - A Phone Call Confession
    Mar 9 2026

In many ways, this investigation is incredibly different to most that we’ve covered so far. In this case, there’s no man-hunt, no examination of forensic evidence to identify the killer... just a complex investigation to uncover the truth as to why a woman killed her husband of 24 years.

As with any case, we’re going to be covering sensitive topics, but please be aware we are going to be referencing abuse in this episode.

  • S2, E20: The Disappearance of Bethany Markowski
    Sep 22 2025

There is added pressure with this case, as it's an unsolved case and the family are still working tirelessly to find Bethany and work out what happened to her all those years ago...

Bethany's family have specifically asked us to share her story in their plea for justice and answers.

Bethany Markowski has now been missing since 2001 when she disappeared during a weekend visit with her father. She was just 11 years old.

She made her last phone call at 12:12 p.m. on March 4, 2001, pinging a cell tower near Natchez Trace State Park and there has been no trace of her since.

There are many theories as to what may have happened to Bethany but nobody knows the truth. In this episode we provide as many facts about the timeline and events leading up to the disappearance as possible, encouraging people to share the case and spread awareness in the hunt for answers. Just one tip could lead to a breakthrough.

  • S2, E19: The murder of Anthony Ibbitson - Murdered in his Own Home
    Sep 15 2025

Without a clear motive or understanding of why this crime occurred, the smallest pieces of evidence provide the biggest breakthroughs in a case.

The murder of Anthony Ibbitson was callous and brutal, and made for a complicated investigation, which relied heavily on CCTV footage to piece the events together, plotting the route of the suspect before finally identifying the offender and getting justice for Anthony and his family.

  • S2, E18: The Murder of Claire Orrey - A Murder in the Family
    Sep 8 2025

Warning - This case deals with multiple references of mental health throughout which may be difficult for viewers. Please watch with that in mind, and take breaks if you need to.

This case all began with a 999 call requesting the help of police, from a dad who believed his son was trying to murder him, and had likely already killed his own mother...

This case shows that unfortunately, some people are murdered by those closest to them, and that some murder cases are incredibly difficult and sensitive to deal with.

  • S2, E17: The Clutter Family Murders
    Sep 1 2025

Unfortunately, despite it being featured in multiple films and television series, as well as a best-selling true crime book, the victims in this case have never been the focus of the narrative.

It’s a tragic case and proves just how callous and cold-hearted some people can be. This case was fascinating to research due to the amount of information out there in the public domain, but as always, we're placing the emphasis firmly where it should be, and that's with the victims.
