  • Loving Your Spouse Through Anxiety, Depression, and Burnout
    Mar 31 2026

What do you do when your spouse is the one struggling—and you have to be the strong one?

In this episode, we talk honestly about a season in our marriage where anxiety, burnout, and emotional exhaustion changed everything. What started as an exciting new chapter—moving across the country, starting a ministry, and raising young kids—quickly turned into a heavy and overwhelming season that neither of us expected.

One of us found ourselves in a deep place of discouragement and burnout… while the other had to carry more than ever before.

If you’re walking through a season where your spouse is dealing with anxiety, depression, or burnout, this conversation is for you. We share what it actually looked like for us, what helped (and what didn’t), and how we made it through without losing hope.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What it’s like when your spouse feels like a different person
    • How to support your partner when they can’t receive encouragement
    • Why you don’t have to carry the weight alone
    • The importance of prayer and relying on God in hard seasons
    • When to invite others in—and when counseling can help
    • Holding onto hope when things feel like they won’t get better

Whether you’re the one struggling or the one holding everything together, we want to remind you: this season is not the end of your story. Healing is possible. Restoration is possible. And there are better days ahead.

  • Marriage Dynamics: Who Is More Likely?
    Mar 24 2026

Ever wonder who’s more likely to do what in a marriage?

Today on the show we “shake it up” by playing a “Who is more likely to” game with unseen questions across personality, parenting, work/life, and faith, noting differences between the way they think and parent. We discuss apologizing, needing reassurance, carrying others’ emotional weight, trusting God, and spiritual encouragement, and conclude that humor, romance, and date nights lighten marriage, seasons pass, and differences are strengths that help couples become one.

  • On The Same Team: Why Teamwork Is a Key to a Stronger Marriage
    Mar 17 2026

Have you ever felt like you and your spouse are living as two individuals instead of one team?

In this Home and Marriage Podcast episode, we talk through how getting sick on a birthday getaway reminded us that marriage requires caring for each other and working together. We share why teamwork starts with a shared vision for marriage, parenting, and the atmosphere of your home, including seeking first God’s kingdom and “reverse engineering” what you want to be true at the end of your life together. We also explain how appreciating differences, asking for help, and staying in your lane strengthens unity, and how knowing your role—dividing responsibilities like laundry, dishes, grilling, and school runs—prevents resentment and helps home become a place you don’t want to escape from.
