In March 2000 a free-spirited young woman made the impulsive decision to go on a cross-country road trip alone. She left behind a cryptic note, causing her friends and family to become concerned. Days later her vehicle was discovered wrecked with no signs of injury inside and no footprints leading away. Her belongings were scattered through the trees, yet valuables remained untouched. Despite searches, witness tips, and later forensic developments, no trace of the woman was ever found, and her disappearance remains unsolved.
