• 145 | Easter Is Not Over: How to Walk Daily In the Resurrection
    Apr 6 2026

Find the full episode here: LivingOnPurposeInChrist.com/blog

Easter doesn’t belong to one Sunday a year. In this episode, we’re asking a question that gets personal fast: what if the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is meant to be lived every day, not simply remembered? If the tomb is empty and Jesus is alive, then fear doesn’t get to lead, spiritual dryness doesn’t get to define you, and your quiet obedience is never wasted. We open Scripture and sit with the weight of 1 Corinthians 15, where the Resurrection isn’t symbolic language, it’s the foundation that holds up our hope and offers real biblical encouragement for everyday life.

We also explore the New Testament idea of anastasis (ἀνάστασις), the rising up that only God can do, and how Romans 6 invites us to walk in newness of life right now. That means your home, your work, your business, your relationships, and your hidden moments of faithfulness become places where resurrection power shows up. We talk honestly about why time in the Bible, prayer, and devotions can drift when life gets noisy, and how God’s invitation is always relationship, not perfection.

Then we share a practical support we use in coaching, the Aroma Freedom Technique, connecting a bit of neuroscience with the way scent, emotions, and feelings interact. The goal isn’t to replace Scripture, but to calm the mind and body so God’s truth can be received more clearly and our thoughts can align with His Word. We also touch on how aromatherapy and essential oils can support a more peaceful, intentional space as you meet with God.

You’ll also hear about my “How to Hear God’s Voice Again” prompt cards, created to help you rebuild a simple rhythm of listening, reflecting, and responding to the Lord with greater peace and clarity. Grab your copy at PaulaBehrens.com/prompt-cards.

  • 144 | Holy Week Truths and the Quiet Witness: Reaching Others Right Where You Are
    Mar 30 2026

Find the full episode here: LivingOnPurposeInChrist.com/blog

What if the most powerful way you share the gospel isn’t through louder words, but through a life that leaves a holy aroma behind? In this Holy Week episode, we slow down with fresh eyes to notice the quiet moments that carry eternal significance. From Jesus entering Jerusalem in humility to the unseen faithfulness that can stir so many feelings when it seems like nothing is changing, we talk honestly about what it’s like to obey God without instant results and why God is still moving beneath the surface.

We linger over the costly beauty of spikenard and the anointing stories in the Gospels, including why these were not all the same event. Mary’s offering filled the house with fragrance and, in a very real way, stayed with Jesus for days. That beautiful detail becomes a living picture of the fragrance of Christ and the Greek word euōdia (εὐωδία), a fragrant offering rising to God as worship. If you’ve been longing for more meaningful devotions and a doable rhythm for quiet time, this conversation offers biblical encouragement to help you see surrender as something that carries lasting impact.

We also explore three Greek words for healing, iaomai (ἰάομαι), therapeuō (θεραπεύω), and sōzō (σῴζω), to reveal how Jesus restores instantly, over time, and into deep wholeness. Then we connect prayer, renewing the mind, and the Aroma Freedom Technique with the God-designed relationship between scent, memory, emotions, and feeling safe in His presence. You’ll also hear how aromatherapy and essential oils can serve as simple supports in your devotional life, helping create space to pause, pray, and process feelings with the Lord.

If you work from home, run a business, or ever wonder whether your daily environment really “counts” as ministry, this episode will remind you that your presence shapes the atmosphere. Your life is already speaking.

  • 143 | Your Work Can Be Holy Ground: When God Is Calling But Fear Keeps You Quiet
    Mar 23 2026

If you’ve been hovering over “post” with a racing heart, editing yourself into silence, or telling God “later” until you feel more qualified, you’re exactly who we’re talking to today. In this episode, we’re diving into God and work, and why so many believers want their work to matter but feel stuck between obedience and hiding. Whether you serve through your workplace, business, ministry, home office, or everyday responsibilities, this conversation will encourage you to see how God can use your life to reach people for Christ without asking you to become someone you’re not.

We explore the real ways fear shows up online and at work, including procrastination, comparison, overpreparing, and staying small. Then we turn to the antidote Jesus gives in John 15: abiding. We unpack what it means to remain in Him, why peace is not weakness, and how creativity, devotions, and faith-rooted business grow stronger when they flow from God’s presence instead of pressure, perfectionism, or the need to prove yourself. You’ll hear practical examples of what abiding can look like before you open your laptop, write content, lead clients, or make a decision you’ve been avoiding.

We also talk honestly about emotions, feeling fragile in your confidence, and why feelings can become shaky foundations when they are tied to approval or results. You’ll receive biblical encouragement for building clarity and confidence through prayer and identity in Christ instead. We also share how the Aroma Freedom Technique, along with simple aromatherapy practices and essential oils, can help uncover the beliefs beneath stress and gently interrupt old fear patterns so you can move forward with more steadiness and peace.

  • 142 | Do Our Pets Matter to God? Faith, Grief and the Comfort of Heaven
    Mar 16 2026

Find the full episode here: LivingOnPurposeInChrist.com/blog

Losing a beloved pet can leave your home feeling so quiet and your heart full of tender emotions. If you have ever held your sweet animal close, whispered “I love you,” and then felt the deep ache of goodbye, you are not overreacting and you are not alone. In this episode, I talk honestly about Christian pet loss grief, the hidden guilt many believers carry when their feelings feel bigger than they expected, and the biblical encouragement that reminds us God cares deeply about all of His creation.

I also share something personal: losing my sweet kitty cat Raina. I walk through what helped me in those first tender days, including creating a small memorial space in my garden for remembrance, gratitude, and quiet reflection. We look at what Scripture says in Psalm 36:6 and Matthew 10:29, and we explore what it means to grieve with hope. You will also hear how the New Testament meaning of hope, elpis (ἐλπίς), points us beyond wishful thinking into a confident expectation of God’s future restoration.

Finally, I share how the Aroma Freedom Technique can support grief healing in a Christ-centered way through prayerful reflection, guided questions, and aromatherapy. By thoughtfully using essential oils like lavender or frankincense alongside prayer and devotions, this gentle practice can help calm the nervous system, make space for honest feeling, and support the release of stuck emotional patterns.

If you are grieving the loss of a pet and feel like your emotions are tender, heavy, or hard to process on your own, an Aroma Freedom Coaching session may be a gentle next step. This is a caring space to bring what is on your heart, release emotional weight, and invite God into your healing journey with peace and intention. Wondering if the quiet work at your kitchen table really matters to God? In this episode, we explore "God and business" through a fresh way to see Lent as an invitation to presence, not pressure, and we talk about how surrender can transform your work from the inside out. Through the lens of koinonia, shared life and purpose with God, we move beyond asking for a blessing on our plans and step into planning with Him, where integrity beats image and income is provision, not identity.

We get practical about what crowds out awareness of God at work: the hurry, the fear of not having enough, and the reflex to prove ourselves. We also talk honestly about emotions, naming the real feeling and feelings that can drive our decisions beneath the surface. Then we introduce the Aroma Freedom Technique, a gentle, prayer-centered process that pairs focused questions and truth statements with essential oils and aromatherapy to engage the limbic system. You’ll hear how memory, emotion, and neuroplasticity interact, and how God can renew fear-shaped thought paths so peace and clarity take the lead. This isn’t hype or hustle; it’s a grounded approach filled with biblical encouragement that helps Christian entrepreneurs release internal blocks and build habits that echo Scripture.

From marketing as ministry to customer service as compassion, we map simple shifts that make your Zoom room a mission field and your inbox a place of encouragement. You’ll pick up reflection prompts for Lent, practical ways to invite God into strategy and service, and simple devotions you can weave into a busy day, so your business rhythms stay rooted in His presence.

  • 139 | Which Woman of the Bible Are You—And Why It Matters for Your Calling?
    Feb 23 2026

Find the full episode here: LivingOnPurposeInChrist.com/blog

What if feeling “too quiet,” “too bold,” or just “not enough” isn’t a flaw but a clue? In this episode, we look at the women of the Bible as more than inspiring stories. They become a mirror for your own wiring, your real-life emotions, and the way God’s grace is already at work in you. As you pay attention to your feeling and feelings, you’ll start to notice that outreach doesn’t have to feel like a performance. It can become alignment.

We walk through vivid portraits—Mary Magdalene’s honest testimony, Martha’s service shaped by conviction, Esther’s strategic courage, Lydia’s fusion of business and ministry, Hannah’s hidden intercession, Ruth’s steady loyalty, Deborah’s decisive leadership, Mary of Bethany’s deep presence, the Samaritan woman’s spontaneous sharing, and Priscilla’s clarifying mentorship. Each story becomes a pathway you can live out today: welcoming people at your table, guiding a small online study, mentoring a colleague, or turning a Zoom room into sacred space. Along the way, you’ll receive biblical encouragement rooted in a rich understanding of grace and a Greek word study on the word—charis (χάρις)—as divine enablement that matches your assignment, so the calling comes with capacity.

You’ll also hear how a simple the aroma freedom technique can pair prayer and devotions with aromatherapy and essential oils to interrupt limiting beliefs and help anchor truth in the limbic system. Think of it as renewing the mind with a sensory “pause”: breathe, declare, repeat, and let new neural paths support your witness.

We get practical about guarding your growth edges—like Martha protecting time at Jesus’ feet or a Lydia-entrepreneur reframing work as holy ground—so your influence can flow without burnout.

  • 138 | Tired of Overthinking Your Calling? Partnering With God in Your Work
    Feb 16 2026

Find the full episode here: LivingOnPurposeInChrist.com/blog

What if your message could flow from peace instead of pressure? We explore the quiet shift from performing for approval to partnering with God in your work, your creativity, and your online presence. Instead of chasing confidence, we practice koinōnia (κοινωνία)—biblical partnership that turns content into worship and replaces comparison with companionship.

We start by naming the exhaustion so many women face—getting honest about the feeling and feelings of trying to sound polished while disconnected from the joy of walking with Jesus. Then we dig into the heart of alignment: asking better questions like “Holy Spirit, what are You inviting me into?” and “What is mine to say?” You’ll hear how the New Testament vision of koinōnia reframes your desk as a place of shared purpose with Christ.

From there, we get practical. God designed your brain, and He cares about your emotions. We explain how the amygdala triggers fear of judgment and how simple sensory anchors—using essential oils and aromatherapy—paired with prayer can quiet the inner critic. Through a gentle Aroma Freedom approach, you learn to name lies, breathe, and replace fear with biblical encouragement and Scripture-shaped clarity. This creates a fresh space for your devotions, allowing boldness to rise up even before you feel ready.

We close by inviting steady, Spirit-led creativity that feels like you: grounded, reverent, and consistent. Discernment guards your path, identity fuels your voice, and joy strengthens your walk. If something in you is stirring and you want help turning this insight into daily practice, book a free 15-minute discovery call at PaulaBehrens.com#discoverycall so we can pray, clarify, and see whether coaching fits your season.
