The Tennessee Titans signed multiple corners in free agency, but cornerback is still a need and if the right talent is there, especially in the event of a trade back, the Titans could take one much earlier than folks are expecting. Moving back and landing Jermod McCoy or Mansoor Delane would be a steal. However, it is more likely the Titans strike later in the draft and if so, they will have to choose what they actually want. There is a clear distinction in this class between longer boundary corners and smaller slot guys. No matter the round, who the Titans pick will tell us a lot about the roles within the secondary.

The Tennessee Titans have big needs at a number of places, but one that isn't discussed often is linebacker. Part of that is the resources already given to the defense and Cedric Gray's emergence, but the Titans still have a hole at the other starting spot and need a long-term solution. That means linebacker may be an option on Day 2 of the NFL Draft. If that is the case, Titans fans need to get familiar with names like Jake Golday, Anthony Hill, Jacob Rodriguez and Kyle Louis. If the Titans do wait until Day 3 for a linebacker addition, odds are it'll be a development player that will not start right away, which is fine too and the preferred outcome.

The Tennessee Titans are expected to consider many positions in the first round of the NFL Draft, but one fans need to consider more is Sonny Styles at linebacker. While there are legitimate reasons to dislike a Styles pick, there are also real reasons why the Titans would take him. Especially with how the board is expected to fall. Jeremiyah Love would be the better pick, but that is a matter of opinion. Along with that, Styles does slot perfectly into the Titans linebacker group and would immediately replace Cody Barton as the MIKE linebacker with Cedric Gray at the Will.
