Since the war in Iran began 6 weeks ago, the world has seen a huge spike in the cost for a slew of things, including gasoline, diesel, plastics, and fertilizer -- all things that relied heavily on the Strait of Hormuz being open. The biggest cost most Utahns have seen is with gas and diesel. And with the amount of goods transported thanks to gasoline and diesel, the costs have or will trickle-down to almost everything we use every single day.
