They've been part of Montana's highways for well over 70-years. Their purpose is to protect our road system, and most importantly, to keep all drivers safe. NBC Montana recently spent a good part of the day at Montana's newest weigh station, just east of Rocker near Butte. It's also one of the Montana Department of Transportations' busiest stations.
