• The Eternity Series Pt I | Pastor Alvin III
    Apr 21 2026

In the first installment of the series on eternity, Pastor Alvin walks through the story of the rich man and Lazarus to challenge how we view success, comfort, and eternity. Through this passage, Jesus confronts us with a sobering truth. What we experience now is not the full picture. Life on earth is temporary, but eternity is not. This message challenges us to examine our hearts, stay hungry for what’s beyond this life, and make decisions that last forever. Because what you gain now is not worth losing what God has prepared for later.

    Scripture references:

        • Luke 16:19-31
        • Jude 1:23
        • Hebrews 3:15
        • Matthew 6

  • Now or Later | Pastor Alvin III
    Apr 14 2026

In this message titled Now or Later, Pastor Alvin unpacks the tension between living for what we can receive now and what God has promised later. Jesus makes it clear that both are available, but we don’t get both. This message challenges us to examine our motives, trust that God is a rewarder, and choose what lasts over what’s immediate. Because what God has prepared for you will always be worth the wait.

  • Easter Sunday Sermon | Pastor Alvin III
    Apr 7 2026

Waiting is rarely easy, but it’s never wasted. When we rush to fulfill our own longings—whether for provision, peace, or a promise—we often settle for shortcuts. This episode Pastor Alvin II extends an invitation to stop striving and start trusting.

Learn why your inheritance isn’t out of reach—it’s simply on God’s timeline. Discover how to find strength and clarity in the middle of the "not yet" and how to trade the pressure of performance for the peace of walking as a son or daughter.

Your inheritance is not in question. It’s only a matter of time. Scripture references:

    • Luke 14:8-11
    • Matthew 4:8-10
    • Proverbs 20:21
    • Isaiah 40:31

  • Still Building Pt. 5 | Alvin Love III
    Mar 30 2026

What if your struggle isn’t a setback, but part of the story God is writing?

As we wrap up our Still Building series, Pastor Alvin brings a powerful reminder that following Jesus doesn’t mean avoiding hardship, it means walking through it with purpose. Looking at Psalm 34:19 and John 16:33, this message reveals a truth many of us don’t expect. The righteous will face affliction. But through Jesus, we are promised something greater than avoidance. We are promised deliverance. Righteousness isn’t something we achieve on our own. It’s a relationship made possible through Jesus, and with it comes the assurance that every trial we face is not wasted. God uses what we go through to shape us, strengthen us, and reveal His power in our lives. You may be in a valley right now, but you’re not stuck there. In Christ, you don’t just go to the fire, you go through it. And on the other side, God is able to use your story to bring hope, healing, and even salvation to others.

    Scripture references:

    • Psalm 34:19
    • John 16:33
    • John 9:1-3

  • Anniversary Sunday - Still Building Pt. 4 | Alvin Love III
    Mar 24 2026
Happy Anniversary Sunday, Nashville Life family! 🎉 As we celebrate all that God has done over the last 14 years and all He’s still building, Pastor Alvin continues our Still Building series with a powerful reminder that we are here because of God’s mercy, not our perfection. Looking at Psalm 51 and the heart behind true repentance, this message centers on the truth that the sacrifice for our sins has already been made. God loved us first, and everything we do is simply a response to that love, not an attempt to earn it. Through gratitude, humility, and agreement, we’re invited to align our lives with God’s vision. Your past does not define your future. God’s vision for your life looks nothing like where you’ve been, and He’s calling you to trust it as He continues building you and His church. Scripture references:
    • 1 Peter 2:4-5
    • Psalm 51:17
    • Matthew 24:14

  • Still Building Part 3 | Alvin Love III
    Mar 16 2026

As Nashville Life prepares to celebrate 14 years as a church, Pastor Alvin continues our anniversary theme, Still Building, by reminding us that God is still at work in our lives and in His church.

Looking at Jesus’ words in Matthew 16 and the vision of the early church, this message highlights God’s desire to build disciples who grow in maturity, unity, and purpose. The church was never meant to be a finished product. It’s a living community where God shapes us while also using us to help others grow.

One of the most powerful reminders in this message is that you don’t have to wait until your life is perfect to be used by God. We will always have needs, but God calls us to be both people who depend on Him and people who help others at the same time.

God sees the brokenness of the world, and His answer is the church. As He continues building His people, He invites us to say yes to being part of the solution.

    Scripture references:

    • Matthew 16:13–18
    • Ephesians 4:11–15
    • Matthew 9:35–38

  • Still Building Part 2 | Alvin Love III
    Mar 9 2026

What if the thing you think matters most to God isn’t what He’s focused on at all? Continuing this month’s anniversary theme, Still Building, Pastor Alvin dives deeper into Luke 15 and unpacks the story of the prodigal son in a message titled “It Doesn’t Matter.” At the center of this message are three powerful words: repentance, reunion, and restoration. Through Jesus, the debt of our sin has already been paid, and God’s desire is not to condemn us, but to welcome us home. No matter how far you think you’ve gone, you haven’t out-sinned the mercy of God. His grace is greater than our mistakes, and His arms are always open to welcome us back.

    Scripture references:

    • Luke 15:21-32
    • Hebrews 8:12
    • Romans 5:20

  • Still Building Part 1 | Alvin Love III
    Mar 4 2026

What if leadership in God’s Kingdom isn’t about being seen, but about being underneath? As we celebrate 14 years as a church and reflect on our anniversary theme, Still Building, Pastor Alvin walks through the story of the prodigal son and challenges us to rethink what it truly means to follow Jesus. Building leaders is really about building servants. And servants are the ones who prepare the table, welcome the lost home, and help carry the weight for others. At the center of this message is the power of being underneath. Following Jesus is a gradual process where your sense of self-importance decreases while your love for others increases. It can feel like you’re going into the ground, but in reality, God is positioning you to lift others up. Just as Jesus went underneath us and raised us with Him, we’re called to take that same posture in our homes, our church, and our city. Don’t mistake someone else being celebrated for your rejection. “Other people are important too” does not mean they are more important than you. The Father is able to handle your needs too. Because when you stay in the house, everything He has is already yours.
