The church today struggles with ignorance about spiritual things, creating barriers to experiencing the Holy Spirit's deeper operations. True worship involves an ascension process that moves from praise (celebrating what God has done) to worship (focusing on who He is) to glory (found in stillness and reverence). Many believers have become conformed to worldly influences rather than being transformed by God's Word, settling for occasional miracles instead of pursuing the continuous blessing found in deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. Abraham's example shows that God's blessing continues despite our imperfections, and as New Testament believers with the Spirit dwelling within us, we have even greater access to this transformative relationship.
