A three judge panel is weighing whether to acquit Sean “Diddy” Combs or reduce the 50 month sentence he received at trial. Comb’s attorneys argued their client received the highest sentence ever imposed for the prostitution crimes he was convicted of last summer. The prosecution insisted that Comb’s sentencing was appropriate and below federal guidelines. After the two hour hearing, a ruling could now come at any time.

62-year-old architect, father and former husband Rex Heuermann pleaded guilty to a series of murders that plagued Long Island for 2 decades. As victims’ families gathered in court, Heuermann detailed how he strangled and dismembered the women while hiding in plan sight, posing as a normal suburban Dad. As part of his plea deal, the Gilgo Beach serial killer will be interviewed by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit to try and understand what drove him to become the monster he is today.

A jury took a little more than 8 hours to convict the Hawaii anesthesiologist accused of pushing and trying to kill his wife on a steep birthday hike. 40 year old Dr. Gerhardt Konig was convicted of attempted manslaughter but the jury spared Konig of the more serious charge of second degree attempted murder. Konig now faces up to 20 years in prison for his conviction.

Royal Bahamas Police say they’ve made an arrest in the disappearance of 55 year old Michigan wife and mother, Lynette Hooker. Her 59 year old husband, Brian Hooker has been taken into custody after he told police high winds and rough seas threw his wife overboard from their 8 foot dinghy. Lynette’s daughter has been making the rounds, letting media and police know her step dad has been violent with her mom before her disappearance.
