Rocky Mountain Ranch Case Documents is a documentary-style research series hosted by Katie Paige, exploring the historic APRO investigation of the phenomena reported at what is known today as Rocky Mountain Ranch in Elbert County, Colorado.

Each episode features direct readings from original APRO briefing documents, chronological event transcripts, and rare archival material, alongside Katie’s personal memories, commentary, and additional research.

This podcast also includes documents acquired from the archives of Dr. Leo Sprinkle, PhD, preserved at the Heritage Center in Laramie, Wyoming.     In this episode of The Clearview Rocky Mountain Ranch Case Documents Series, we examine the next set of handwritten notes detailing a prolonged and deeply personal encounter.
    The account describes a motionless state accompanied by a cloud of pinpoint lights, followed by the appearance of a small humanoid figure with elongated arms, a structured chest device, and a helmet connected by multiple hoses. The witness reports the being did not communicate verbally but conveyed intent through impressions, including calmness, control, and purpose.
    Additional details include:

    A “box” or device on the chest described as mechanical with dials
    A sense of observation, examination, and lack of physical contact
    The presence of multiple entities entering the home environment
    Telepathic-like communication and awareness of thoughts
    References to different groups: “Fuzzy” (Bigfoot), “Neighbors” (people in the disc), and “the Other” (stick light)
    A perceived expectation to “choose” between entities
    Physical sensations without touch, including internal movement and sound

    The notes also describe activity occurring inside the home, including movement in the basement, interaction with family members, and events the witness later questions as possibly dream-like or induced.

    One of the most striking elements is the suggestion that the witness may have been evaluated for usefulness, paired with a strong feeling that memory of the experience was being limited.
    The final page notes that electrical devices may have attracted the attention of the entities, adding another layer to the reported interactions.

    These documents provide raw, unfiltered insight into the complexity of the Clearview Ranch case, where UFO encounters, entity interactions, and high strangeness overlap in ways that remain difficult to explain.

    In this episode of The Clearview Rocky Mountain Ranch Case Documents Series, we examine the next four handwritten pages documenting a recalled encounter involving John Duke, identified in the session as “Jim.”

    The notes describe a nighttime experience near the ranch in which Duke and a young companion drove up the hill and observed a strange yellow light in the trees along with a buzzing object later referred to as a “box.” As Duke approached the object, the buzzing reportedly shifted into what he interpreted as a warning signal.

    According to the account, two human-like figures appeared near the light source. Duke described them as very close to human in appearance, though with distinct features, unusual clothing, and an extremely calm presence.

    One of the most unusual elements recorded in the notes involves a Bigfoot approaching the box. Duke recounts that the beings indicated the object could be “quite lethal.”

    The handwritten pages also include Duke’s reflections on events at the ranch at the time, including the attention surrounding reported mutilations and concerns about activity on the property drawing increased scrutiny.

    These pages provide a rare look into the raw recall material associated with the Clearview Rocky Mountain Ranch investigation, where reports of UFO encounters, unusual lights, and cryptid sightings intersect in ways that continue to raise questions.

    In this episode of The Clearview Rocky Mountain Ranch Case, we begin examining a rare set of handwritten notes from a hypnosis session conducted on June 10, 1978 involving a witness known as “Jim” from Clearview, Colorado.

    The session was attended by Dr. Leo Sprinkle, USGS scientist John Derr, and anthropologist Pete Van Arsdale during the early investigation into the unusual phenomena reported around Clearview Ranch. These notes document a regression session focused on unexplained “missing time” experiences.

    During hypnosis, Jim recalls hearing voices discussing him, references to telepathic communication, and descriptions of advanced technology capable of influencing human senses and electrical signals in the brain. The session also includes strange details about lights, evaluations of human biology, and the suggestion that unseen observers were analyzing him.

    Additional discussion following the session touches on unusual activity at the ranch, including reports of fear, tension, and strange events experienced by visitors.

    Tonight we will read and examine pages 1 through 5 of the original 14-page document. The remaining pages of this hypnosis session will be presented and analyzed in future episodes of The Clearview Rocky Mountain Ranch Case as we continue to explore the historical records connected to the Clearview Ranch investigations.
