He is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

This is the Easter sermon from 2026 based on the concluding chapters of John's Gospel. In it, Pastor Aaron walks us through the resurrection of Jesus and the purpose for which John recorded these events in his book -- that by believing you may have life in His name.

People have a lot to say about Jesus. The world has been talking about him for the last 2,000 years. There's clearly something to this historical figure that has people wondering..."Who is He?"

In John 12, there's a multitude gathered as Jesus rides His way into the city of Jerusalem. And in this chapter, we're met with a distinct answer to the question. Who is Jesus? "The King of Israel!"

But, this claim doesn't go far enough. Jesus, through His life, death, and resurrection, claimed that "All authority in heaven and on earth had been given" to Him. He was claiming to be King of the Universe.

Why would He claim that? What warrant did He have for such a claim?

In this sermon, Pastor Kevin speaks to the "confession" of faith that those gathered in Jerusalem were making about Jesus - why it's right - but what it means for those who "pledge allegiance" to Him in this life.

This sermon is based on John 15. Jesus says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)
