• Episode 34 - I just relized this at 2am
    Mar 31 2026

You know that moment… when you’re finally asleep and your brain decides it’s the perfect time to remind you that you messed something up?

    Yeah… that.

In this episode, I’m talking about the middle-of-the-night realization that I completely mixed up dental appointments… plus everything else piling up—my sister in town, Easter coming up, my husband’s birthday next week… and oh yeah, the Christmas gift I LOST and thought I could magically give him for his birthday 🙃

If your brain feels like 47 tabs are open at all times… you’re not alone.

This is for the moms who are doing their best… even when it feels like everything is happening at once.

  • Episode 33- Inside The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
    Mar 24 2026

In this episode I share our real family experience attending the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Stadium. From high-speed barrel racing and intense bull riding to calf scramble dreams, mutton bustin ambitions, carnival rides, massive crowds, and seeing Tim McGraw perform live, this episode gives an honest look at what it is like to attend one of Texas’ biggest rodeo events with kids.

We also talk about the unforgettable moment of watching champion barrel racer Kassie Mowry and her horse Jarvis win the barrel racing event live in the arena, as well as the reality and risks of rodeo competition after witnessing a bull rider get stepped on during his ride — and the relief of later learning he was okay. Along the way we reflect on generational horseback riding connections, rodeo culture, western traditions, and the lasting family memories created during a high-energy night at the Houston Rodeo.

  • Episode 32 - Spring break mode the tradition that keeps our family connected!
    Mar 17 2026

Spring break looks different in every season of life — from childhood adventures to parenting your own kids — but the memories we create along the way often become the traditions that shape our families for generations. In this episode, I sit down with my Aunt Stephanie, one half of our family’s unofficial “spring break committee,” to talk about the stories, laughter, and real-life moments that have defined our spring break experiences over the years.

Alongside her sister Sylvia, she has helped plan and create countless spring breaks — first as a kid herself, then as a mom, and later as the fun, memory-making aunt for nieces and nephews (including me). We talk about how these traditions have evolved, the funny and unforgettable moments that still get brought up today, and why intentional family time during school breaks can leave such a lasting impact. Maybe I can catch the other half of the dynamic spring break duo and get a word with Aunt Sylvia. Until then, enjoy!

If you’re looking for relatable parenting stories, ideas for creating your own family traditions, or just want to feel the nostalgia and joy that comes with shared memories, this episode will remind you that the simplest moments often become the most meaningful.

  • Episode 31 - Wait? Only in the movies?
    Mar 10 2026

Disposable cameras. Film development. Binder cover photo collages. Apparently… all of this now sounds like ancient history to our kids.

In this quick episode, I talk about introducing a group of teens to a disposable camera — and watching their minds completely implode when I explained that we used to develop film and slide the photos into the front of our binders.

A quick, funny throwback to 90s and early-2000s teen culture, disposable cameras, and the parenting moment where you realize your childhood now sounds like something from a movie.

  • Episode 30 - Texas DMV
    Mar 3 2026

We went to the Texas DMV expecting a simple permit transfer.Instead? Full parenting plot twist. I’m sharing our real-life experience trying to switch my daughter’s California learner’s permit to Texas, from being told it wouldn’t transfer, to a surprise moment that felt like straight-up DMV dark magic.

If you’re:• Moving from California to Texas, or moved• Navigating the Texas DMV with a teenager• Transferring an out-of-state learner’s permit• Managing teen driving milestones• Preparing for the six-month wait before the behind-the-wheel test

This episode will sound very familiar.

We talk about:– DMV paperwork – Relocating with teens– Almost walking out with more than we expected– Choosing integrity over convenience– And the quiet realization that sometimes, as a parent, it’s time to step back and let your child stand in the spotlight.Because not every milestone needs us to be center stage, sometimes motherhood means becoming the steady background character. Supporting, guiding, and holding the line, while they begin to take ownership of their own moments. We left with her permit successfully switched to Texas… and six months of waiting ahead before her driving test.

If you’re raising a teen driver in Texas (or anywhere), this one’s for you.

✨ Follow this podcast so you don’t miss upcoming episodes on teen milestones, real-life parenting chaos, and honest motherhood conversations.

  • Episode 28- WWE
    Feb 17 2026

This week I’m sharing the moment my kids discovered why I love WWE — and how the Attitude Era became a core memory in our house. After they asked me why I’m such a wrestling fan, I introduced them to Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker in the iconic Buried Alive match (yes… with the excavator 😅). Their reaction to classic WWE vs. today’s wrestling was everything.

We’re talking about growing up with wrestling, Attitude Era nostalgia, sharing your childhood with your kids, and why it matters to let them see who you were before motherhood. I also dive into my rock collection, the meaning behind it, and the family rule that will get you shunned if you don't follow it. ( jk or am I? lol)

If you love WWE, Stone Cold, The Undertaker, wrestling memories, parenting older kids, raising teens, mom life, and creating real connections through the things you loved growing up — this episode is for you. (Pat Mcafee is the annoucer who forgot. ;-/)

Valentine’s Day parenting hits different when you’re raising teens. In this episode, I talk about giving kids Valentine’s Day gifts, helping them choose gifts for others, navigating teen crushes, and when friend-Valentines make more sense than romance.

We cover kindness, bullying, protecting kids’ hearts, and what to get a teen boy for Valentine’s Day. I also share how Valentine’s traditions change over time, my husband’s tradition versus my quieter one, and why the love kids grow up with becomes the love they look for later.

A gentle, honest Valentine’s Day episode about family, boundaries, and raising kind humans.
