  • 1KHO 754: The Mother in Law Triangle | Dr. Tracy Dalgleish, You, Your Husband, and His Mother
    Mar 31 2026
In this eye-opening and surprisingly relatable conversation, Dr. Tracy Dalgleish returns to unpack the hidden dynamic quietly straining so many marriages: the mother-in-law triangle. Drawing from years of clinical experience, she explains why even confident, capable women can feel stuck in these relationships, how family patterns long predating the marriage shape current conflict, and why so many couples end up in the same painful loop without a clear way out. This episode offers a wiser path forward—one rooted in strengthening the marriage, setting boundaries without guilt, and learning how to step out of the triangle instead of fighting harder inside it. If you’ve ever felt caught between keeping the peace and protecting your family, this conversation will give you language, clarity, and hope. I just had my first baby this spring and through my endless research on how to be the best parent in the world, I stumbled on the 1000 hours outside challenge (which we will be doing next year as well as trying to get as much time outside as possible for the remainder of this year). I was then so excited to find this podcast! This podcast offers a range of topics focusing on wellness that benefit adults and children alike! Keep up the good work Ginny!
