Hey, I’m Garrett—husband, dad of five, and high-producing real estate agent.

For years, I chased the industry’s definition of success—more deals, more money, more recognition—while quietly missing family dinners and date nights. I was productive, but I was becoming a burned-out realtor, and my faith and peace were taking a back seat.


I realized that if I wanted real freedom in this business, I couldn’t just work harder—I needed a solid framework, better structure, and smarter real estate systems.


So I built a plan that honored my faith and my family, not just my production goals. A few simple, intentional strategies allowed me to grow my business, sell a high volume of homes, and still be present at the dinner table every night.

    In this Quick Cut episode, Garrett follows up on his conversation with Jason Pantana by giving agents three things they need to understand about AI right now — before it quietly starts reshaping how they think, work, and live.

    Here's what Garrett covers:

    #1 — AI is a tool, not a voice of wisdom. These platforms are designed to be helpful, but helpful isn't the same as true. As believers, we already know where wisdom comes from — and it's not ChatGPT. AI will tell you what you want to hear, not what you need to hear. Learn why godly counsel and Scripture can never be replaced by a prompt.

    #2 — AI should give you your time back, not just make you busier. The biggest mistake agents are making right now is using AI to do more instead of asking whether they should be doing more at all. If the extra capacity AI creates is just getting filled with more work, more content, and more chaos — you're using it wrong. The goal is more output with less cost to your life.

    #3 — Speed is increasing, but you don't have to live at that pace. Jason mentioned in their interview that he caught himself getting frustrated reading slower than AI could produce a response. That's real. But just because technology moves faster doesn't mean your life should. As Christian real estate professionals, we're called to faithfulness — not constant output.

    - When AI buys back your time, invest it in what matters most. If AI makes you more efficient, the question is not how to fill that time with more work — it is how to steward it. Go be with your kids. Be present with your spouse. Honor what the Lord called you to first.
