  • The guys talk about A.J. Brown, Christian Gonzalez, Hard Knocks, and much more
    Apr 2 2026

—Three weeks from today, we’ve got the NFL Draft. The Patriots are picking at No. 31. What side of the ball are you going with in the first round?

–There’s been a lot of talk about the idea of adding AJ Brown…either before or after June 1st. You hear people in Philly, and there’s a sense of inevitability that the receiver and the team are headed for a breakup, and it’s just a matter of when and where he goes. If the Patriots do ultimately land him, what sort of advice would Hogan give him when it comes to how to succeed in a Josh McDaniels offense?

—Mike Vrabel said Christian Gonzalez has earned a contract extension, so they have this year and next year because of the option. Where do you stand on this? Are we OK with likely paying him somewhere in the range of $30 to $35 annually?

–It was announced this week that the Patriots are doing Hard Knocks in 2027. I know we’ve talked about this before, but in the wake of this news, and as a former star of the show, does Hogan have any advice for the coaches and players?
