This episode of The RHP features a live conversation between Rachel Hollis and entrepreneur Cassey Ho, recorded at Rise Elevate in Austin, Texas. Cassey shares how she unintentionally built a massive brand from a simple YouTube fitness video into companies like POPFLEX and a Target partnership. She emphasizes that her success came not from strategy but from consistently creating high-quality, passion-driven content and listening closely to her community. The conversation dives into practical entrepreneurship lessons, including the power of storytelling in marketing, the importance of trusting instinct alongside data, and the realities of scaling a business. Cassey also recounts her viral pirouette skort design, the challenges of fast-fashion copycats, and how she turned a frustrating legal battle into an innovative, mission-driven upcycling initiative that empowered other designers and engaged her audience. Throughout, she highlights resilience, creativity, and authenticity as key drivers of growth, encouraging listeners to focus on building something meaningful, adapt to challenges as opportunities, and stay aligned with their purpose rather than chasing trends or external validation.

This episode of The RHP features a conversation between Rachel and men’s style coach Tanner Guzy about how personal appearance connects to identity, confidence, and relationships. Tanner explains that clothing functions as a form of “visual language” that not only shapes how others perceive us but also influences how we see ourselves, arguing that many men avoid style out of fear of seeming inauthentic. He introduces the idea that style should reflect internal identity and can help individuals reconnect with purpose, especially during major life transitions such as midlife, career changes, or divorce. Their conversation broadens into themes of personal growth and relationships, suggesting that neglecting appearance can signal deeper disengagement, while intentional effort can strengthen confidence, attraction, and connection. Ultimately, the episode frames style not as vanity but as a practical and creative tool for self-development, encouraging listeners to experiment, align their external expression with their inner identity, and show up more fully in their lives.

In this episode, Rachel argues that vacations should be intentional experiences that leave people feeling rested, inspired, and fulfilled rather than exhausted. Reflecting on her own upbringing and current lifestyle, she emphasizes the importance of prioritizing travel, and choosing the type of travel deliberately based on personal needs. Rach highlights common mistakes such as traveling with incompatible companions, over-scheduling, and focusing too much on social media instead of being present. She also encourages planning ahead, setting clear priorities with a budget, and saving for desired experiences rather than going into debt. Ultimately, she frames vacations as a reflection of self-worth and an opportunity to create lasting memories and personal growth.

I really loved this episode, I’ve been listening to Rachel’s podcasts and really enjoy her energy and love of learning and sharing but always felt a niggling doubt about whether I could trust her authenticity….or whether she was just taking us along on her messy ride which might do more harm than good. After this episode I feel so relieved that I can listen without those doubts anymore and can just learn and grow by listening along - I never expected Rachel to be perfect, in fact her imperfections make her real but I now I feel I can trust her too. Thanks Rachel for putting yourself out there with your work and I will enjoy growing alongside you in all sorts or weird and wonderful ways.

Rachel Hollis is a beautiful human being. A human being who lets her wins and mistakes be seen in the limelight because she cares deeply for other humans. She risks it all and comes back time after time no matter how badly she gets beaten down. She’s helped me tremendously and so many others. She has helped so many people. Listen to the podcast if you want to grow and become a better human. Thanks Rachel!
