    "...And they lived happily ever after! The End." Do you like stories to have happy endings? I know I do! But in real life, the stories of people's lives don't always have happy endings. Everything we do is a choice. Each choice brings positive or negative consequences to our lives and will lead us down one of two paths. This week we're learning more about the choices that Israel and Judah were making, and the happy and sad outcomes each of them experienced.

    Imagine your grandmother wanting to kill you. You being hidden away for years and taught to love and obey God by your aunt and uncle. Then when you are 7 years old, you become KING!!!! Can you imagine??? This week we are learning about a new king for Israel - Joash. He was just a kid when he was put on the throne, but because he loved God, there were some great things that he was able to do for his people and he helped to bring them back to the worship of God.
