    Recap: Jubilee Li, a Chinese-American living in Beijing and reformed thief who can see angels & demons, works with Detective Graeson Law to investigate Zheng Yi Yang—a Peking University student whose deal with a demon lets her supernaturally murder the targets of her vigilante justice. Under the alias Zhuli Wong, Jubilee poses as an exchange student to monitor both Zheng Yi and the demon, successfully befriending the other girl and gaining her trust.

    But things get complicated when Jubilee develops unwanted feelings for Detective Law. Can she keep him from discovering why she’s been acting so strangely around him?
