幕末から明治期に活躍し、国内外で高い人気を博す絵師・河鍋暁斎。
本展は、個人蔵として世界屈指の
イスラエル・ゴールドマン・コレクションより、
日本初公開を含む約110点が展示されています。
狩野派の高度な絵画技術と歌川国芳のユーモアや諧謔を融合させた
暁斎の作品世界の圧倒的な見所に迫っていきます。
