Deebo Samuel remains one of the most versatile playmakers in the NFL, bringing a unique “wide back” skillset that allows him to impact the game as both a receiver and runner. However, with injuries and age becoming factors, Washington must decide if he’s worth a long-term commitment or a short-term deal.

On the other hand, Brandon Aiyuk represents a potential long-term solution at wide receiver. In this episode of Going to the Body with the Urban Sports Scene, join Wole and Ray for their post-fight live reaction to the highly anticipated WBC super welterweight world title clash between Sebastian Fundora and Keith Thurman in Las Vegas.

In this episode of HBCU Corner, Ray sits down with University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men’s Basketball Head Coach Cleo Hill to discuss the Hawks’ upcoming MEAC Tournament first-round matchup against North Carolina Central University.

The No. 6 seed UMES Hawks will face the No. 3 seed North Carolina Central Eagles in the opening round of the MEAC Men’s Basketball Tournament, an important opportunity for the Hawks to make a postseason run during March Madness season.

Coach Hill breaks down the matchup, discusses how UMES is preparing for tournament play, and reflects on the growth of the program throughout the season.

UMES enters the tournament battle-tested after a competitive MEAC schedule and a narrow 77–73 loss to North Carolina Central earlier this season, proving the Hawks can compete with one of the conference’s top teams.

Statistically, the Hawks have relied on balanced contributions throughout the season. Zion Obanla leads UMES in scoring and rebounding, while Michael Teal leads the team in assists, highlighting the Hawks’ balanced offensive attack.

As the Hawks prepare for postseason play, the focus turns to execution, defense, and momentum in the MEAC Tournament, where every possession matters and a strong run could push UMES toward a memorable March Madness run.
