Wallace is joined by Brenda Sutton, a mother who turned personal pain into purpose. Now marking five years of this mission, she shares what it means to show up for others, how small gestures can restore dignity, and why consistency matters more than recognition.

  • “I Told You So” — Local Awareness, Self-Sustainability & Questioning RFK Jr.’s Health Claims | ETB 3-8-2026
    Apr 3 2026
Originally aired live on March 8, 2026

Wallace Allen doesn’t say it to gloat—he says it to remind us what happens when we ignore what’s happening right in front of us.

In this episode of Empire Talks Back, Wallace breaks down the importance of paying attention to local issues, staying engaged in community affairs, and building real self-sustainability at the ground level. Because when we disconnect locally, we lose control of what affects us most. He also takes a hard look at public health messaging and leadership—raising serious questions about who we trust and why.

Referencing recent comments from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Wallace challenges the credibility of health guidance when it conflicts with common sense and responsibility. This episode is a reminder: awareness isn’t optional. What we ignore today shows up tomorrow—whether we’re ready or not.

🎙 Empire Talks Back continues to push conversations that keep communities informed, alert, and accountable.

    Mar 10 2026
    (Originally aired February 22, 2026)

Reparations for the descendants of American slavery remains one of the most important and debated issues in the country today. What would real reparative justice look like — and how do we prove lineage and historical harm?

On this episode of Empire Talks Back, host Wallace Allen leads a powerful conversation on the history, politics, and future of reparations in America. Joining the discussion: Chad Brown, a leading reparations advocate in California and National Spokesperson for the Lineage Equity and Advancement Project (LEAP), shares insights on the growing movement for lineage-based reparations for Foundational Black Americans. Also joining the conversation is Kellie Farrish, a professional genealogist whose work focuses on uncovering family histories tied to the system of American chattel slavery. Through genealogy, Farrish helps individuals trace their ancestral roots — whether descending from the enslaved or enslavers — to confront history, acknowledge truth, and begin the process of healing generational wounds.

    Together they discuss:
