He wrote It’s Not Just Baby Fat to help adults address weight issues with children in a way that is helpful and not harmful. I’m guessing most parents have good intentions when they try to help their kids, but we all know that some of those well-intentioned methods used in the past did NOT, in fact, help kids lose weight at all! I really needed to hear this. Keeping expectations realistic is a thing. I was a fortunate one who was able to lose 100% of my excess weight (155 lb weight loss) but the last bit of it was me, not the surgery. It is hard work.

Great episode
