She discusses Gary Ridgway as one of her "favorites" to study because of his deceptively gentle appearance and the sheer scale of his crimes. She shares that her general interest in true crime starting as a teenager when she lived near the area where the Green River Killer was active. She also mentions that her father unknowingly fueled this interest by buying her graphic detective magazines! Elizabeth sells "Killer Shot Glasses" featuring her serial killer characters, a name and product idea suggested by her husband to provide something more functional than wall art. After an unexpected hiatus, they are back for 2026, and they’re kicking things off with a cult classic that really knows how to flip the script: "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996). Why this movie? Because Sammi had never seen it! The movie famously starts as a gritty crime thriller about the Gecko brothers (George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino) on a run to Mexico, only to pull a hard 180 into a full-blown vampire bloodbath at the "Titty Twister" bar. Robby and Sammi both really enjoyed this 30 (!!) year old flick and can see why it's become a cult classic.

Chapter 2 picks up immediately after the first film, following Maya, the sole survivor, as the masked killers (Dollface, Pinup Girl, and Scarecrow) track her to a hospital in Venus, Oregon. Robby and Sammi slam the decision to include flashbacks revealing the Pinup Girl's origin story and the critical consensus agrees, criticizing the film for "over explaining the killer's backstory." Sammi and Robby lament the main character's "dumb decisions" and inability to "shut the f*** up," making her a poor horror heroine.
